Description

Since September 2005 all of the teaching for our Key Stage 2 music curriculum has been provided by Excel Music Schools. The children enjoy lessons and their enthusiasm for the subject is evident. The standard of singing in particular is high with girls and boys of all abilities joining in with confidence.
The high standard of teaching has also enabled us to perform regularly for appreciative audiences and all the children take part in seasonal concerts. For those children with a particular interest in the performing arts there is the opportunity to join the after school “Fame Club”. Excel Music Schools have supported this activity and a number of children have been given the opportunity to develop and demonstrate particular abilities, with some enabled to give excellent solo performances.
